Across his career, Lou held positions at The Park School, Harrisburg Academy, Cape Henry Collegiate, The John Cooper School, Allendale Columbia School, and the Rochester City School District, among others. Teaching was his life’s passion, and even after retirement he continued to work as a substitute teacher, tutor and literacy volunteer.
A natural athlete throughout his life, he enjoyed biking, running and golf. He also loved spending time with family, playing guitar, and consuming mystery books, movies and television. He will be remembered for his intelligence, quick wit, and mentorship to countless students.
