Frederick J Donaldson, Jr., 73, of Rochester, NY, passed unexpectedly on March 8, 2026.

Fred was predeceased by his father Frederick J. Donaldson, Sr., mother Mary Jane Donaldson, and sisters Kathleen Dunhaver and Mary Ann Dickson.

He is survived by his children Michael Donaldson (Lisa) and Christina Conway; brother Steven Donaldson (Lane), nephew Lorin Laurini (Ann), and grandchildren Jesse Donaldson, Ashlyn Donaldson, Amelia Conway, Truman Conway, Griffin Donaldson, and Kiara Donaldson, great-grandson Leo Donaldson, and many nieces and nephews.

Fred enjoyed photography, racing, music, movies, gaming, his various collections, and volunteering to help those in need. He touched countless lives in both small and meaningful ways. Loved by many, his memory will be kept in the hearts of those who knew him.

A memorial celebration will be held at a future date.
