Rose Kane

Rose Marie Kane was born September 7, 1947, to Steve and Marie Bucek. She lived in Pennsylvania and New York City before moving to Rochester as a child.

With husband Bill Kane she had three children, Kim Kane (Rich Crist), Debbie (Don) Lochner, and Billy Kane. After raising her children, she went back to school to become a nurse. Rose was raised in the Catholic church, and enjoyed praying with others, even attending several Women of Faith conferences with her daughter, Debbie. She loved expressing her creativity, whether through dancing, quilting, painting ceramics, or wearing sparkly fingernails and big jewelry.

In addition to her daughters, she leaves behind grandchildren John (Noelle) Britt, Josh Britt, Ariel White (Matt Applegate), Kiera Crist, and Katelyn Lochner, as well as her great-grandchildren Charlie, Reggie, and Sylvia, her siblings Steve Bucek and Heidi (Matt) Dundon and brother-in-law James Ratigan, and her nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband Bill Kane, her son Billy Kane, and her sister Margie Ratigan.

Calling hours will be held 4-6pm Tuesday 8/25 at Crawford Funeral Home (495 N. Winton Rd.) with dinner reception to follow.
