Tammy G. Siwiec (she-vee-its), AKA Tams or Big Momma, born April 15, 1969, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at the age of 57 (we did the math for you).

Outside of being a registered nurse of over fifteen years, she was a professional at writing lists, which was her true passion in life. She was also known for her love of oversized artwork, big hair, interior design, chunky jewelry, and being incredibly, almost aggressively, thoughtful. She rocked her own personal style accompanied by her many dogs and trucks over the years. Despite being allergic to bees (which got scary one time), her favorite food was Jeremiah’s bee sting wings - all flats. It was no secret, her home was her pride and joy. To any estate sale goers in the western NY area, your most fierce competition has left the building. Tams was notoriously the last one in and first one out for any social gatherings and if you ever had the chance to enjoy her homemade ice cream cake, sorry- we have no idea how to replicate it.

But for all the things she collected, created, and carefully curated, her most lasting legacy was the people she leaves behind. She is survived by her four ridiculous and witty children (who also inherited her humility)- Madison, Savannah, Boston and Riley. Two grandchildren, Emmett and Eleanor who preferred Big Momma’s company over anyone else. Her greatest advocate (to the point of annoyance), her angelic mother, Liz. A bonus mom - Mary Beth (MB) who specialized in running vital interference. Her loyal secret keeper and sister, Jennifer "Jo" (Dwight) Roth. Honorable mentions include her father, Jim Guck, and her many nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She also leaves behind a small jungle of high-maintenance potted plants that absolutely none of us wanted to look after for a single weekend, let alone a lifetime.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Please contact her people for details!
