In loving memory of our brother, Vernal F. Seymour Jr.

9/4/68 - 10/10/2026.

He passed away on October 10th, 2026, after a long hard-fought battle of injuries he sustained when he was just 35.

He was quite the character, sharp witted, outlandishly humorous and he could write a book on sarcasm, but fiercely protective of those he loved.

His smile was sly with a goofy sideways grin; and his eyes twinkled when you walked in the room. His strength was unmatched as he kept his pain hidden from view to keep the mood light, throwing out a joke or two to make you smile.

In his younger years, he was as wild as they come…5’8”, yet bigger than life; soaking up every moment like a sponge thirsting for adventure!

We will miss him so very much, but his memories will forever live on in our minds and hearts. Forever our loving brother and our Uncle Bernie!!

He was predeceased by his parents Vernal F. Seymour (1934-2022) and Theresa A. (Lawrence) Seymour (1943-1999). And is survived by his two sisters, and three brothers, several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Per Vernal’s wishes, there shall be no services or calling hours. A small, private gathering of immediate family for a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Thank you for all of your condolences, prayers and kind words as we navigate this difficult time.
