Robert's life began in Newark, NJ by Louis Neacosia and Barbara Neacosia on July 8, 1967. In 1972, after the death of his mother, he and his siblings lived with their maternal aunt, Ms. Evelyn M. Boyd. Robert was educated in the Rahway School System wherein he graduated from Rahway High School in 1985. "Garf" as his family and friends affectionately called him, experienced different educational and career opportunities which gained him employment with the Shoprite Corporation for 10 years.
Robert married Kellie Warr and they had two daughters, Simaya and Angelina Neacosia. In 2014, Robert with his family, moved out of Rahway, NJ and relocated to Rochester, NY wherein he worked as an Electrical Contractor for several years until he developed a chronic medical condition. Robert and Kellie Neacosia co-parented until his passing.
He leaves behind his wife, Kellie Warr-Neacosia; two daughters, Simaya lynn and Angelina Evelyn Neacosia, of Rochester, NY; sister, Rhonda Johnson-Island of Hampton, VA; two brothers, Reginald Johnson, of Elizabeth, NJ and Rodney Johnson of Newark, NJ; and a plethora of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his brother, Christopher Neacosia. "Garf" will be greatly missed and never forgotten. This loving tribute was written by his sister, Rhonda Johnson-Island.
