Timothy Irwin McDonald

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy I. McDonald (☘Tippy☘) after a wonderful full life Tim went in peace on the early morning of July 21, 2025 at 87 years old.

Tim was the greatest father you could ask for that always put his family first. He and his loving wife Diana shared over 67 years of marriage. Together they raised four children. Tim was a proud dual veteran of the Marine Corps and Army. Tim was also a dedicated union man of the Teamsters local 118 for 28 years where he received many awards for his excellent service and driving.

Tim loved his family being around him and was always the life of the party, with his hilarious sense of humor he was always ready with a joke to tell to make you laugh. He loved taking long drives, and listening to music especially one of his favorites chances are by Johnny Mathis.

Tim will always be remembered for his heart of gold and his love to help his family or anyone in need and his quick wit that would always make you smile.

Tim is predeceased by his parents, Charles and Helen McDonald along with his brothers Charles, John, James, and sister Sharon (Conley). He is survived by his wife, Diana McDonald; children, Colleen (Mike) Ward, Timothy T. McDonald, Maureen McDonald and Debra (Tim) Hasson; grandchildren, Sarah (Jay) Bedford, Michael (Tracy) McIntosh, Melissa (Rob) LePage, Erick Clark, Timothy (Liz ) McDonald and Ryan T. Hasson; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Bedford, Jason Bedford, Jaelyn Strobell, Aubrey McIntosh, Jameson McIntosh, Dakota Clark, recently becoming a great-great grandfather; many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held in the fall for family and friends with a date TBD. Tim was a very strong presence in his family‘s life that will always be cherished and he will remain in our hearts forever. In lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the American Red Cross.
