Kevin Robert Klein

Beloved grandfather, father and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 14. He was 62. Kevin spent his working hours at Mayer’s Hardware, delighting customers and ruffling management feathers with his unique sense of humor. He is survived by his children, Courtney (Matt Georger) Klein, Colin (Kayla Mattern) Klein; sisters, Karen (Bill) Swiger and Gretchen (Milt) Weir, and brother, Brian (Gwen) Klein. He is also survived by his two adoring grandchildren, Owen and Kyle Georger, whom he said provided the best moments of his life. A celebration of life will be held Friday, July 20, at 1:00 PM at the chapel at McQuaid Jesuit High School, 1800 S Clinton Ave, Rochester, NY 14618. Memorial donations can be made in Kevin’s name to Seneca Park Zoo, his favorite place to spend time with his grandson.
