Alice Joann Chalfant

Passed away on July 3rd, 2021, at the age of 81. She was a 1961 graduate of the Akron City Hospital School of Nursing and went on to work as a registered nurse for over 35 years. She loved reading, crocheting and collecting butterflies. Alice will be greatly missed by her husband of 54 years, Jim; children, Eric, Lisa, Shari and Dana; grandson, Josh; brother, Clarence; sisters, Norma Jean and Janice Kay; and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 31, 3 PM, at St. John’s Meadows, 1 Johnsarbor Drive West, Rochester. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to cameronministries.org.
