Neil passed away suddenly on the morning of July 20. He was at a weekend family reunion and happened to be surrounded by family in the moments of his passing.
He is survived by his wife Laurie, Children; Maggie (Scot King), Peter (Jessica) and Andrew (Christine). Grandchildren; Quinn, Aiden, Clara, Olive, Violet, Eleanor and a plethora of in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Neil was a kind soul who loved music as well as a good laugh. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or share the roof over his head with a family member or friend in need. He had a wonderfully dry sense of humor and always enjoyed a good Farside Cartoon, Monty Python clip, or the occasional dog, cat, or small child doing something ridiculous, kind of meme.
His wife Laurie of 53 years, his children, and his grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life. You could not have a 5 minute conversation with Neil without hearing about the adventures and exploits of his children or the wonderful and cute antics of his grandchildren.
He loved going to local live shows to listen to music with his wife and friends. Visiting his children and grandchildren was his favorite happy place.
