Obituary for John (Larry) Moore
Rochester: John (Larry) Moore, lost his battle with cancer in the early hours of June 10, 2024. He was 70 years old. He was born in Portsmouth Va, the second son of John and Marguerite (Huntoon) Moore. He was married to his loving wife Lenora (Crittenden) Moore for 25 years.
John had a colorful life, filled with many stories, which he gladly shared with anyone who would listen. He traveled his own path and accumulated many friends along the way. He always had a smile on his face and a sense of humor that filled any room he was in. For those of us who got to experience his wit and humor, it was something you will never forget.
He was always willing to help people. Didn’t matter if they were lifelong friends or some he just met. He will be missed.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lenora (Crittenden) Moore who died in 2017, his father John Moore and his mother Marguarite (Huntoon) Moore and his sisters Marsha Moore and Donna Moore.
He is survived by his brother Gordon Moore and his wife Regina (Sablauskas) Moore, from Bonita Springs, FL. niece Darcie Moore and her children, Chloe Picard, Theo Picard and Evie Picard, all from Miami, Fl.
John was interned in White Chapel Cemetery, with his wife Lenora, in Pittsford NY.
